PFLAG Seattle Scholarship

The mission of the PFLAG Seattle scholarship fund is to support the educational aspirations of LGBTQ+ students residing in the greater Seattle area and Kitsap County. Our scholarship will empower the next generation of LGBTQ+ leaders to promote a world where every person is safe, celebrated and loved.

About PFLAG

PFLAG is the nation’s largest organization dedicated to supporting, educating, and advocating for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them. Founded in 1973 by a mother and her gay son, we provide peer-to-peer support, educational publications, toolkits, and other resources to make sure that the family members of people who areLGBTQ+ get the support they need in the way that best serves their needs.

PFLAG Seattle is one of more than 360 chapters and there are more than 550,000 members and supporters nationwide who are helping create an equitable and inclusive world where every LGBTQ+ person is safe, celebrated, empowered, and loved. PFLAG Seattle offers five, free support meetings every month, free educational material, and we do community outreach and advocacy activities throughout the year.
